Hot n' cold colouring

You can also use photocopies of ready made drawings

Useful for teaching colour values

Hot n' cold colouring  1

Draw a picture using only lines. Cover the paper

Hot n' cold colouring  2

Draw two or three lines across the paper dividing the paper into 4 or 6 sections

Hot n' cold colouring  3

Colour one section using only warm colours e.g. red, orange and yellow. Then colour the section next to it with cool colours e.g. blue, green and purple. Continue colouring like this until finished
