The Same Difference exhibition will be situated in the Nave of the beautiful Ripon Cathedral. Workshops with Ripon Cathedral Primary School are being run on 17th June next to the exhibition.

Situated in the Shop@Newby Hall, a new shop and gallery space for 2009 which aims to promote creativity for the young at heart for all ages. Same Difference will feature alongside an exhibition of original prints by Jonny Hannah and Michael Kirkman.

Aims of the tour
- To highlight the aspirations of children across a wide spectrum of cultures and environments, often poverty and conflict
- To give children the opportunity to see what other children think
- Explore the similarities and differences of young people
- Raise awareness of development issues
- To help children gain greater confidence in making artwork
- Opportunity for the children to be part of an international touring exhibition
- Connect organisations
- Promote the work of International Service at home and abroad.
